Researchers of 23 Diversified Country Exchanging Science in APCC 22

YOGYAKARTA – At least 126 researchers from 23 countries contributed the ideas and share results of their research in the 22nd Asia-Pacific Conference on Communications which held at the Royal Ambarrukmo Hotel, Yogyakarta Thursday-Friday (25-27 / 8). Entitled “Advancement of Science, Technology, and Applications in Communications for Humanity”, the conference is organized by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Chapter Indonesia, which Telkom University was appointed as the organizer.

At this conference came nine keynote speakers with five other speakers in tutorial sessions. They among others came from Tohoku Institute of Technology Japan, Deakin University Australia, Swansea University UK, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chung-Ang University, South Korea, PT Telkom Indonesia, and of course from Telkom University (Tel-U) , Bandung, Dr Eng Khoirul Anwar.

According to the Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering (FTE) Tel-U, Dr Ir Pudji Rina Astuti, MT, this 22nd conference organized by IEEE 22. “IEEE Chapter Indonesia had twice assigned as an organizer, on the year of 2013 and now in Bali,” he said.

Tel-U Rector, Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, M Eng, PhD, expected that this conference can be a forum to exchange knowledge and information on the latest research while strengthening ties among researchers from various countries. (Purel / raf)
